Here and Now Fashion Festival

My name is Sage and I’m a 22-year old graduating senior at the New School. I love exploring with color and with different materials and textiles, and I’ve made a lot of designs based on color psychology and wellness, like designs for people with ADHD. I’ve lately expanded my work with wellness to include essential oils and scent integrated into clothing. As someone with a fine arts background, I’m also interested in playing with the silhouette of the body and integrating fine arts concepts into my garment designs. I grew up in South America and am very influenced by the slow, artisanal method of producing textiles and garments that is also completely sustainable and zero-waste. It’s my goal to integrate this type of system into the fashion industry which is so notorious for polluting.
