The School for Design Strategies welcomes Christian Schneider to Full Time Faculty

Christian Schneider joins Parsons the New School for Design Strategies as an Associate Professor of Design and Management. He has a background in strategic design consulting – he worked as a designer for Studio De Lucchi and as a project leader for IDEO, building and running comprehensive consulting programs. Guiding IDEO Milan he collaborated with Sottsass Associati and with DeLoitte Italy exploring synergies between design and business consulting in the late nineties. Clients include Deutsche Bank, Deutsche Telekom, Ferrari, FSB and Siemens amongst others. IDEO CEO Tim Brown in Conversation with SDS Faculty Member Bruce Nussbaum

On September 30, The New School will present Tim Brown, chief executive officer and president of IDEO, a global design consultancy, in conversation with Bruce Nussbaum, BusinessWeek contributing editor and SDS visiting professor of Innovation and Design. Nussbaum and Brown will discuss the critical issues facing design and innovation today, on the occasion of the publication of Brown’s new book, Change by Design: How Design Thinking Transforms Organizations and Inspires Innovation.
