\"PopUp\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Parsons School of Design students within the Strategic Design and Management BFA program presents Shirt\u00a0Stories, a first up-cycle fashion lab pop up in collaboration with Housing Works.<\/span><\/p>\n

By redesigning shirts that were given by Housing Works the goal of the pop up\u00a0lab is to give a new (and fashionable) life to unwanted shirts and encourage\u00a0up-cycling. Through hands-on fashion up-cycling workshops at the Fashion Lab we\u00a0will be making a difference in our effort to minimize textile waste.<\/p>\n

There will be a Shirt Stories showcase, which will display up-cycled shirts\u00a0redesigned by Parsons faculty and students. Each shirt will be presented with a\u00a0story of its dramatic or gut-bursting past, revealing the relationship between the\u00a0shirt and its previous owner.<\/span><\/p>\n

Shirts will be sold for $5. All proceeds benefit Housing Works \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

When: 5:30PM – 7:30PM<\/span><\/p>\n

Where: Parsons, 2 West 13 Street at Fifth Ave. In the Lobby<\/span><\/p>\n
