\nBFA Alumni Han Wen recently won the prestigious SS17 Merit Award from Fashion Scout in London. The award has previously been won by creatives such as, ROBERTS|WOOD, Phoebe English, David Koma and Xiao Li.<\/p>\n

Han’s SS17 catwalk show was showcased at London fashion week on September 17th and was fully sponsored by Fashion Scout.<\/p>\n

His SS17 collection exists as a form of escapism, grounded in imagination and reality simultaneously. The metal detailing allows the clothes to at once tell a fantastical narrative and allow space for liberation from restraints.<\/p>\n

Han Wen graduated from Parsons School of Fashion’s BFA program in spring 2016. He was showcased at the 2016 Parsons Benefit, the finalist of the Kering + Vogue.com’s empowering imagination and finalist of the Eyes on Talent Innovation Award.<\/p>\n
