JUX, and The History of Creation (on the internet)<\/p><\/div>\n

When talking Internet we often forget that the original untamed digital World Wide Web wilderness, invented in the early ’90s by Tim Burners, began to string together global communication but without a lot of style. This past Saturday at Parsons, Aidan Feldman, JUX web developer and Director of Flexibility, presented a digital history lesson and shared the JUX blogging platform.<\/p>\n

Aidan bookmarked the web\u2019s biggest accomplishments before the term “search” was synonymous with Google. Yahoo, which used the first graphical web browser from Mosaic, led to today\u2019s modern browsers that now beautifully display our web content. Blogger and WordPress then gave voice to our musings in blog format along with the social connectedness of Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and a myriad of apps for sharing thoughts and images.<\/p>\n

At Parsons, fashion students have adopted creative blogging in the digital curriculum. Selecting a web platform free of page distraction is key to featuring their content. JUX, a full screen magazine theme blogging layout that showcases large images with bold type, is becoming a stylish choice for fashion creators.<\/p>\n

And with today\u2019s emphasis on mobile browsing, JUX recently debuted behaviors for the iPad 2 tablet. A JUX page for the iPad will inherit the same page layout format as created for the desktop with the addition of swiping, pinching and page rotating features.<\/p>\n
