Caravan Cuisine

Celebrating the connection and culture of recent immigrants through cuisine

Project Description
New York is a city of immigrants where you can find cuisine from around the world. Despite the diversity of New York, immigrants still face challenges integrating into new cultures, navigating unfamiliar systems, and overcoming negative stereotypes. Developed by international students at the New School, Caravan Cuisine is a mobile ‘potluck’ dining experience where sharing food celebrates people’s unique and distinct immigrant heritage and brings them closer together.
