The Patient Art Collective

Art program for patients

Project Description
The student team’s proposal to Pfizer, named the Patient Art Collective, is an art-making program that provides opportunities for creative self-expression and social engagement between patients with related conditions. The World Health Organization defines health as a state of complete physical, mental, and social well-being rather than merely the absence of disease or infirmity.

By facilitating the access to an organized space, in which people can connect and express their emotions, Pfizer will expand its care to the mental and social well-being of patients. This new way of listening to patients will help Pfizer to better define patient needs thus becoming more patient-centric.
