This project aims to create an immersive 3D cat game that combines detective work and photography, providing players with a unique experience. Through the eyes of a feline protagonist, players navigate urban environments, uncovering mysteries and challenges faced by stray cats. By integrating educational elements, the game raises awareness about feline welfare issues and encourages advocacy. The first-person exploration format enhances immersion, while photography mechanics add complexity and storytelling depth.

The project’s origins trace back to personal experiences with stray cats, sparking a desire to address feline welfare concerns. Encounters with abandoned cats prompted exploration of solutions like Trap-Neuter-Release (TNR) programs. These experiences led to the realization that a game could serve as a powerful tool for education and advocacy. Engagement with community organizations and individuals further solidified the project’s purpose and potential impact.

The game appeals to a diverse audience, including gamers, educators, animal advocates, and technology enthusiasts. Its lighthearted approach makes it accessible to players aged 12 and above, while its thematic focus resonates with animal welfare advocates and those interested in social issues. The project’s innovative gameplay mechanics attract both casual players and gaming enthusiasts, while its potential for educational use broadens its appeal to educators and students.
