Dear Passenger, You Are Lost Between Two Lights

Dear Passenger, You Are Lost Between Two Lights is a VR walking experience that explores the liminality of dream and memories during a long flight in the dark.

The experience setting takes place on a plane, where the audience “wakes up” to surreal yet tangible scenarios and goes on a walk, eventually returning to the flight.

Demo Video:

The VR liminal experience stems from my experience of taking intercontinental flights. They often take over 12 hours and are composed mostly of darkness with some cold dim light. The airplane cabin is a place of confusion as well as a site for realization – that the passenger is being transported both in space and time.

Some assets were modeled from specific real life references to add a personal touch.
