A Cozy Cooking Simulation Exploring Virtual Dog Companionship

Dogmakse is a cozy simulation game that blends the warmth of a dog restaurant with the artistry of omakase-style cooking. It derives its name from Omakase, which is a Japanese style of dining where chefs prepare dishes based on their creativity.

Players take on the role of a chef, crafting personalized meals for visiting dog customers, while slowly uncovering the unique story behind each one through the progression of the game.

Problems: Loneliness, Stress, Mental Health

In modern society, loneliness has become increasingly common, and many people seek companionship to relieve stress and emotional burdens. However, for many, owning a pet is not a practical option due to financial limitations, lack of space, or insufficient time and energy. As a result, virtual pets have emerged as an ideal alternative.

Benefits of Virtual pets

The trend of raising virtual pets emerged in the 1990s with the introduction of Tamagotchi. Virtual pets not only provide companionship but are often integrated with game mechanics, offering users both emotional comfort and engaging gameplay experiences. These digital companions cater to the need for connection and relaxation without the real-life responsibilities of pet ownership.
