“Traces of Life” is an experimental installation that explores how human activity continuously disturbs ecological systems. Using a Petri dish as both a visual and conceptual framework, the project presents a dynamic system driven by real-world environmental data, including biodiversity loss, global temperature change, and deforestation. The visuals evolve autonomously, while subtle user interactions create temporary disturbances that appear to fade but conceptually persist within the system. By contrasting organic imagery with exposed artificial materials, the work reveals how human influence is embedded within natural processes, often unnoticed, yet continuously shaping them over time.
