Selina Jing

MFA design & technology
Selina Jing is a multidisciplinary designer who works across illustration, motion, and emerging technologies to create visually rich, story-driven experiences. With a background that spans both traditional and digital design, she combines 2D and 3D elements to craft immersive, engaging work. Her foundation in illustration shaped a strong visual language, while graduate studies deepened her focus on interactivity, motion design, and new media.
Selina’s practice is grounded in the belief that design is a powerful connector, between ideas, people, and emotions. Her work explores this connection through thoughtful visuals, intuitive experiences, and a willingness to experiment. This portfolio is a reflection of that approach: a collection of projects shaped by curiosity, collaboration, and a deep respect for the creative process.

Weaving

2026

Weaving is a mobile app designed to help you manage your interpersonal relationship. It provides a neat and personal space to explore your invisible social connections. The app gives you a gentle daily prompt everyday to help you recall a specific memory, whether she/he is a mentor, or an old friend. You then add that person and make your new version contact in a more clear and organized way.
