Xiaoyue Xing is a Chinese designer interested in installation and printmaking. Her work explores the fragility of the individual and the subtle moments and qualities that define what it means to be human. She is drawn to capturing fleeting emotions, intimate experiences, and the quiet complexities of human existence through visual and spatial forms.

This project explores the circumstances of the people left behind and their memories amidst the processes of industrialization and deindustrialization in northern China. The project use the life story of a horse as a metaphor to transform human migration into a storytelling installation.
