With a drawing tablet as a controller, the game plays with the player’s sense of control, both mechanically and emotionally. Drawing tablets allow users to have more precision and control over how they interact with the screen than something like a mouse. Unlike a standard touchscreen, however, there is an object– the stylus pen– that acts as a buffer between the user and their cursor, especially for tablets without a screen built-in, like the one Oh My God You Wizards Can’t Do Anything was prototyped with.
