Miao Miao Lán Lán is a fine artist and new media artist working across painting, video, and sculpture to capture the body's quiet insistence on the slow accumulation of external pressure. Drawing from speculative fiction, bodily sensation, cultural memory, and theories of affect, she constructs environments in which emotional intensity becomes one of the last remaining forms of agency.
