First-year students from the MS Design and Urban Ecologies Program designed a methodology to identify vacant, underutilized, and available properties in Sunset Park and its surrounding areas early this month. Using this methodology and in collaboration with our community partners, they organized a collective neighborhood survey and mapping on September 14. Over 40 persons met at the Sunset Park Recreation Center to walk block-by-block across the neighborhood. Stay tuned for the results of this collective effort.<\/p>\n
