Capstone 2022

Integrated Designers students come to Parsons to collaborate and to make interdisciplinary connections that didn’t exist yesterday. Rather than choosing a single disciplinary major, Integrated Design students play, challenge, and experiment across academic boundaries in order to forge emergent design practices.

Overwhelming resilience characterizes the work by the class of 2022. This cohort could have easily been defined by the constraints of a relentless global pandemic, but instead they have embraced optimism and collegiality at every opportunity. Merging communication design with social justice, art with sustainable fashion and psychology with game design among many other disciplinary mash-ups, these creators challenge traditional boundaries of design.
