An exhibition featuring Parsons’ The Design Workshop: BronXscape. The Design Workshop is widely recognized as one of the nation’s premier design/build programs. With faculty guidance, students complete the design and construction, from schematics to punch list, of a medium-scale project for a non-profit client. This year’s client, the Neighborhood Coalition for Shelter (NCS), presented a challenge to the students: to design the rooftop for a new development, an apartment building in the Bronx for young adults aging out of foster care. NCS is a non-profit organization local to New York City, whose efforts focus on “ending homelessness, through providing men and women with housing and support that can transform their lives.”

Presented by The School of Constructed Environments’ Architecture, Interior Design, and Lighting programs.
