Enlightenment
Prompt: Create a narrative (or tell a story) using 6 to 12 photographs. This narrative can be based off a specific action or character.
My photographic narrative follows the story of a girl that notices a mysterious light emanating from her mirror, and as she makes contact with it she becomes enlightened: turning into a God-like figure. I sought to create a spiritual, otherworldly, and fantasy-like atmosphere as seen through elements such as the ethereal rays of light, the girl’s whimsical dress, the literal action of ascension, and the cohesive glowing blue and white hues that dominate the images.
