Up first is this week\u2019s Wire Sculpture workshop, meeting Thurs. Sept. 29 from 7 to 8:30pm in Room L 802 (2 West 13th Street).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This workshop with Parsons faculty member Roger Stevens will introduce students to the basics of working with wire as an artistic medium. Students will create suspended, free-standing, and kinetic sculptures using simple techniques and materials, and learn about the various materials and tools one can utilize in this versatile art form. Students are encouraged to bring needle-nose pliers if available, and 18 gauge annealed steel wire available at most art supply and hardware stores, or Home Depot.
