Students will engage with both the technical and aesthetic aspects of the process, learning how to design with intent, control form and pattern, and understand the behavior of colored clay during construction. This workshop is open to students of all skill levels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Things to bring:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8211; Plastic container for water (small bucket, yogurt container, takeout food container, etc)&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8211; Apron (or come wearing clothes you don\u2019t mind getting clay on)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8211; Rulers&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The First Year program will provide all other materials!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">*This workshop has reached capacity. She worked as a tableware designer for a ceramic manufacturer in NY for several years until shifting her course to locally produced handmade ceramics and founded her own studio in Greenpoint in 2009. Specializing in small batch production, she has been creating her own line of ceramics as well as working on custom made projects for clients such as TUYO NYC, The Garland Hotel, Walden, and Bio Alchemy Olfactive.
