The purpose of my chair design is to make city living more manageable and provide people with a practical way of storing furniture that can be condensed, taking up less space than the average chair. This seat can be easily tucked away under your bed or desk, and can also be easily carried around from place to place. I was really inspired by shapes fitting cleanly together without requiring any screws or hinges, just a very simplistic and well-executed design. I also wanted to create a piece that reflected my character, and so I chose to represent my bubbly personality by utilizing more rounded circular features.
