For my Object Lesson Project, I chose to remake the book \u201cMilk and Honey\u201d by Rupi Kaur. Researching how a book is made and actually making it made me appreciate my things a lot more. There is so much time and effort put into making things, especially when they are hand made, to not appreciate them. My favorite part about making the book was filling out all the pages. Although it took a long time, it was worth it because I loved how it turned out. Cutting all of the pages was the most challenging part. Since I cut them one by one with an X-acto knife, my blade would often slip and cut through some of the paper and make it unusable. I overcame this, however, by using a metal ruler to control my blade and it ended up working perfectly. If I were to do this again I would figure out a better way to cut the paper all at once and maybe even print my text onto the pages. My book was inspired by Rupi Kaur and the artists Coco Capitan and CB Hoyo.<\/p>\n\n\t\t
