When I first got this assignment, I immediately came up with this topic because I used to think that Korean people sometimes don&#8217;t appreciate much about having an independent writing system. So, I thought it would be good if I build a place where everyone can visit and celebrate the invention of Hangul. The design is based on the principles of Hangul (sky, human, and earth). Mainly, the building is a shape of a sphere representing the sky. There are the staircases with the letters &#8220;\ud6c8\ubbfc\uc815\uc74c&#8221; (ancient name of Hangul) connecting humans and the building which is the sky in context. Lastly, the building, human, and Hangul all lie down on the earth. I focused on those three elements to make the artwork meaningful, not only to make it function.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/parsons.edu\/undergrad\/student-work\/hazel-kim\/hazel_kim_004\/\"
