This garment was made to question the beauty standard in the current day’s society. I want to uncover the struggle under the sick beauty rules and encourage both male and female to be confident in their own skin despite other people’s judgment. The material of the garment was inspired by bathing towels. When people are facing the mirror naked before or after a shower, it is the most vulnerable time when people can criticize or feel shameful of their body images. The garment is a statement that we should accept who we were, who we are now, and encourage each other to stand up firm with confidence.<\/p>\n
