In Midsommar&#8217;s case, sexism and gaslighting played a big role in the movie&#8217;s plot. Get Out tackled racism and the sense of white superiority in America, and The Amityville Horror, although subtle, deals with the flawed housing market in the U.S. and how the wealth gap affects average American households.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/parsons.edu\/undergrad\/student-work\/marika-kleinfeldt-2\/marika_kleinfeldt_005\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-11680\"><img
