Making this project gave me such an appreciation for all of the objects I use daily, helping me to understand and admire the design of the product in its entirety. From how it\u2019s constructed, to why things are made the way they are, with the materials they are made from, etc. There is so much history packed into the shoe itself that I hope I was able to do it justice in my, for lack of a better term, “hack-job” mimicry.<\/p>\n
