When approacing this project, I aimed to create some sore of narrative or design which would transition from one panel to the next. This wold allow for the eye to flow easily from one side to the next when viewing the cube. As I was also interested in the media, which was fairly rigid, I thought it would be interesting if my subject matter was somewhat delicate\/organic, hence why I chose to create flowers. The juxtaposition between the hardness of the wire and the softness of a flower was what initially drew me to this. When designing each side, I added vertical and horizontal lines with very thin wire to fill blank space in each panel to create a stronger composition, this would also make each panel more cohesive with the next, along with the flow between them that already exists. A box made from plastic was also included inside so the designs would come through more clearly, and to prevent overlap from other sides.<\/p>\n
