To start the deck, I used watercolors to very abstractly paint each card to the word it corresponded to. Then on each card, I drew a hand that represents the word in either a metaphorical or literal way. Because each word was related to me in some way, I was able to conjure up the emotions and\/or actions the word meant to me and use it in the physicality of the hands. Lastly, I used the literal dictionary definition of each word and glued it to the back of the card to juxtapose the emotional and personal meaning of the words on the front side.<\/p>\n
