This piece explores translations of the idea of liberations through different mediums. Everything in this piece was improvised, the song, the dance, and the painting. The title, duet with my oppressor, refers to donald trump or the arrogant white man, similarly referenced by mitskis, be the cowboy. You can hear radio coverage of donald trump and bbc discussing the recent election. The act of liberation comes from taking up space, playing so loudly over their voice that you can no longer hear the voice of trump or the radio.<\/p>\n
