The painting I chose to copy is ‘Head of a Bearded Man in Pro\u2002le’ (1527-38) by Domenico Beccafumi, an Italian painter. In class, we learned the methods of oil painting used by the painters, such as creating an underpainting and working in layers of color, which helped me create my copy much more smoothly.<\/p>\n
