I was encouraged\u00a0to collect & document our inorganic waste over the semester. Overtime, I noticed a mass accumulation of leftover masks due to COVID-19 mask wearing protocols. For this project, I wanted to message the idea of mask pollution and the mass uses of them throughout this pandemic. Though necessary, this does have an impact on our environment with the amount of waste leftover. I wanted to incorporate the use of a hazmat suit, a distinct garment used during the COVID-19 pandemic, in order to display the mass use. My idea was to place the masks over the entirety of the garment to further the idea of mass use and waste.<\/p>\n
