My faith is a big part of my personal life as well as my creativity and inspiration as an artist. I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latterday Saints. In my community, the Book of Mormon is a sacred text that testifies of Christ. I have noticed that members of my community, at times, feel ashamed and embarrassed to carry their scriptures in public because they fear being ostracized or stereotyped. I designed a Book of Mormon case that does not hide the scriptures, but instead, draws attention to the sacred text. By bringing the scriptures to light, we can move toward dispelling any rumors or falsehood about them. The case showcases the concepts and message of the Book of Mormon.
