My goal for the photo montage was to capture the potential serenity and peace of nature. I looked at the colors given and chose to walk the line between yellow and green\u2014joy and acceptance respectively\u2014 which spoke to me for this assignment. The woman, dressed in red, represents the frustrations and grievances that are present within us. Yet, by letting it coexist with our joy, love, and wonder, it can be softened, even accepted. Although I utilized many images, cohesiveness was a focus for me. By using Photoshop’s different layer effects and distortion tools, I was able to create an environment that felt surreal yet tangible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
