What would tattoos look like as 3D art pieces that you wear on your body rather than 2D pictures tattooed into your skin? For this assignment, I wanted my wearable art piece to bring a traditional tattoo design of a heart with wings to life in a new way. The quote across the band of the top “Did my heart love till now?” Is from Romeo and Juliet. I thought it was fitting because of the romantic motif of the heart, but also the wings reminded me of Baz Luhrmann’s Romeo and Juliet film.
