Creating a miniature Hong Kong board game out of wood was both a meaningful and challenging experience for me. As I created this board game, I found myself immersed in the beautiful architecture and the severe housing issue in Hong Kong. I wanted to create a contrast between old and new buildings and a game that represents the housing situation in Hong Kong. The process not only demanded precision and patience but also sparked a deep sense of connection to the city\u2019s unique identity. Creating the wood pieces was very difficult since it had to be concise and straight. Some pieces would easily fall down due to the fact that I was only able to use wood glue. However, the challenges I encountered, from choosing the right wood to capturing the essence of the final board game, pushed me to improve my skills and problem solving abilities in design. The final product became more than just a miniature board game, and I had learned a lot more about creating wood objects.
