Through this weaving, I wanted to express the feeling of love. Specifically, the feeling of having a crush on someone. I wanted to express how it feels to be in love, from the excitement to the craziness to the joy of it. Shades of pink and red melt together and different organic textures spill out of the work, like overflowing feelings. The heart is on the left side, representative of the heart in my chest, and the various yarns, fabric and ribbons surrounding create a chaos that feels like butterflies in one\u2019s chest.
