For some, it\u2019s beautifully crafted mass-produced cookies. For others, it\u2019s recycled buttons and old sewing supplies. \u201cHalf Expected,\u201d explores an unexpected future: the disappearance of humans and a full society takeover by cockroaches and insects. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>My piece uses exclamation points and a tweaked version of the ichthys symbol for the \u201cpresent day\u201d representation of our society, along with question marks for the uncertain future. The present is solidified by the digital side of my piece, while the future prone to change is drawn using ink.
