I did ballet for more than 10 years, and one of my favorite ballets is the classic Swan Lake. I learned a couple of variations every summer for the last few years before I quit, so every summer I am reminded of ballet and Swan Lake. This piece is an ode to those memories. The swan form itself is similar to how a dog runs in circles to chase its tail. I used a human head as the physical \u201ccircle\u201d to help the audience better visualize the concept and incorporate my idea into an artwork. I also used many different paper manipulation techniques, such as glide reflections, weaving, origami, and laser-cutting for the feathers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery
