For this project, I focused on the ring and the rope as symbolic elements to explore and justify the darker aspects of love. I intended to portray a non-linear narrative that tells a story of one possible routine of love, one that is \u201cpoisoned\u201d. In this project, the “poisoned” love is rooted in domestic violence, and I chose to represent its toxicity through symbolic imagery associated with death and suicide. By creating a discomforting and pessimistic film, I wanted to emphasize that the ending of such a love is an inevitable tragedy. In this narrative, once someone enters a poisoned relationship, symbolized by the ring, the only way to escape is through death, represented by the rope.
