For the concept of time in my piece I chose the chapter from the book Einstein’s Dreams titled, 16 April 1905, in this world time moves like a flow of water each disturbance causes the flow of water to revert downstream causing those affected to be brought back in time to the past. People who are transported back in time are afraid of what they might do as it will have a drastic effect on their future making them afraid and in constant fear resulting in them to become more closed off and hide away from the rest of the world. I used the theme of this chapter to convey in my work through narrative and form; the narrative of my piece was that my character is a Woman From The Future who was transported back in time to the past, Einstein’s Dreams describes these people as, \u201cPersons who have been transported back in time are easy to identify. They wear dark, indistinct clothing and walk on their toes, trying not to make a single sound, trying not to bend a single blade of grass. For they fear that any change they make in the past could have drastic consequences for the future.\u201d I incorporated this description of the time traveler for my character in the narrative and form of my piece incorporating wardrobe and color grading to convey the character. For the setting I chose to take the photos in Coney Island showcasing the empty theme park as well as the ocean since it connects back to the way time moves in this world; like a stream of water. In my text I include a narration of the character in third person, describing her feelings about the future and how she likes the quietness of the past.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
