Using thick wood scraps, I cut about 70 triangles, drilled holes in them, and connected them with black and white cable ties to create the final model of the star. Pleased with the result, I added a central hole in each triangle to support a secondary structure. After experimenting with plastic straws and various shapes, I ultimately settled on a pyramidal form that mirrored the main star structure. For the final version, I used metal tubes, but since they were smaller than the holes I drilled on the triangles, I wrapped them with tape at the bottom to match the size. I then added wire inside to connect all the tubes to create the second form.
