I develop my project based on the thought of self-conflict. I feel that there are multiple sides of human, and sometimes there might be conflict between the inner selves. We might be experiencing dissatisfactory or even hate for some aspects of our personalities, while we are united together as a whole, which makes it complex to explain and express. I used watercolor and marker pens to create an illustration. I used the composition inspired by the statue of Perseus and the head of Medusa, which is more powerful than seeing straight-forward to each other. Flowers are covering all over the painting in a relatively unrealistic way, which is inspired by some abstract pieces I have seen.
