My video explores the theme of anxiety as a form of pressure shaped not only by individual experience but also by broader social systems. In the video, anxiety is shown as coming from multiple sources, including work, family responsibilities, body image, and self-criticism, etc. Rather than presenting anxiety as a single emotion, I structured the video around three different states. First, anxiety appears as a chaotic and overwhelming reaction, where the individual seems out of control. Then, it shifts into a quieter phase, where the person attempts to regulate themselves and find a sense of calm. Finally, the video shows a form of forced optimism, where individuals try to continue living productively while suppressing their anxiety. However, the ending reveals that this calmness is fragile. If anxiety is not truly addressed, it eventually returns and breaks through the surface, like a fire destroying a constructed sense of stability. Through this, I suggest that anxiety is not only personal, but also a shared condition shaped by contemporary society.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In terms of process, the project went through many changes from draft to final version. I worked with a large number of film clips, which made the editing process both time-consuming and technically challenging. In some cases, I had to search extensively online to find specific scence that matched my concept. Additionally, because I did not always have access to my computer, some clips were edited on my iPad before being imported into Premiere as longer segments. This affected how I organized and refined the material later. One of the main challenges was to assemble many fragmented clips into a coherent narrative with emotional continuity.
