Pain is a moving image work developed from my previous book project, which explored my personal growth from 2022 to now. For this project, I selected a single subject\u2014a feeling\u2014and focused on mental illness and physical uncomfortable. By narrowing the subject to \u201cpain,\u201d I was able to explore how an internal state unfolds over time rather than narrating it linearly. My creative intention was not to document depression as a fixed condition, but to reflect on how my understanding of it has shifted between 2022 and 2024, and how I imagine its presence in my future.
