This project is inspired by a traditional Korean lucky pouch, reflecting an oriental aesthetic. The form symbolizes the act of protecting something valuable with the interior intentionally hidden from external view to suggest the unseen nature of the future. As the structure opens, the mother-of-pearl inside begins to catch and reflect light. The angles of the form are designed so that the surface remains subdued when closed, but reveals a luminous interior when opened. This transformation emphasizes the idea of hidden beauty that is not immediately visible. The piece is constructed using layered fabric combined with rigid acrylic plastic and wooden panels, creating a balance between softness and structural stability.
