This piece was inspired by a corset I already own that features a delicate rose pattern. Rather than recreating the garment literally, I wanted to create a more representational interpretation that focused on the boning, silhouette, and structural elements rather than the fabric itself. I hand-bent sections of wire into floral and ruffled forms to suggest the appearance of lace and ornamentation without directly reproducing them.
