These life drawings were created by drawing the figure\u2019s posture as accurately as possible in a set amount of time ranging from 30 seconds to 10 minutes. The life drawings were created by using different methods such as drawing the figure\u2019s contour first, drawing the basic shape of the figure first, or by drawing figure gesturally in one stroke. The silhouettes were created in Illustrator. I first took the image of a life drawing and placed the picture on a layer on Illustrator\u2019s artboard. Second, on a different layer, I used the pen tool to create the outer shape of our figure followed by using the pen tool to create the empty spaces of the figure.
