Chinese GaoKao (National Higher Education Entrance Examination, it is is an\u00a0academic examination held annually in the People\u2019s Republic of China. This\u00a0examination is a prerequisite for entrance into almost all higher education\u00a0institutions at the undergraduate level. It is usually taken by students in their last\u00a0year of senior high school.)<\/p>\n

I chose this topic because GaoKao is the most important test for every Chinese\u00a0student; the preparation is often very difficult and takes a long time. I took the\u00a0GaoKao test before. For me, GaoKao was painful. I remember the tension,\u00a0stress, and countless white examination papers. Mental stress and physical\u00a0stress (more than 10 hours of studying and quizzes each day) often make many\u00a0students feel tired. I hope that everyone can feel the pressure of GaoKao through\u00a0my artwork, and also feel the morbid, sick and painful experience of the student\u00a0who is preparing for GaoKao.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":8407,"template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"_links_to":"","_links_to_target":""},"categories":[23],"tags":[77],"class_list":["post-8404","student-work","type-student-work","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-integrative-studio-seminar-1","tag-fake"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"\nHaoran Wang -
