Astronauts are a collective group, but are often thought of and seen as solitary. The setting is a space station, and the three astronauts are shown together and the body positions show that they kind of interact with each other and not just isolated. It feels large and empty, because I wanted to capture the loneliness of outer space even though they\u2019re with each other. The gray, dim colors of the interior reflect this, opposed with the bright lights of earth on the outside the window.
